We finally have grass in our yard. First of all we want to thank my dad, mom, Dave, Kim, Dallas, Kevyn, Brendon, Dusty and Sylvia for all of the awesome help. I think between mine and Dusty's yards we wore my dad and brother out, we had 5,900 square feet of sod to lay and on friday we put in a sprinkler system at my house. Kevyn and Dallas came up on Saturday to help with sod and they started our little piece of fence that we are putting in. A thanks to kev for coming up poor guy has been fighting stupid kidney stones for the last two weeks, I don't think he slowed down one bit though. Bre and I have also been painting the back fence, the part that is wood, it looks really good. It is crazy to see how much different a yard looks when there is grass. Before picture After Picture
Also this week is finals week so not only did we have a long weekend the week has been crazy too. I can't wait for school to be finished, this is the first year that I wont be fighting fires or gone somewhere for the summer so it should be pretty exciting. This thursday after my 1 o'clock final we are heading down to California to stay with Kevyn and his awesome wife to be. I just checked the weather for the weekend and it is supposed to be a whole lot nicer then it is going to be here, so yeah I think we picked a good weekend to leave.
